Misconstrued

What's a rainbow to you? For me, growing up, it was a sign that a heavy downpour had just passed, and the sun was making its' way back out from among the clouds. But over the years, the rainbow has been used to promote an idea that is far from the original meaning that it was intended to convey.
The rainbow, a symbol originally created by God, was made as a covenant between Him and Noah that He would never flood the earth again (Genesis 9:11-17). Currently in society though it has been effectively manipulated as a symbol used to corrupt and confuse people, most notably the younger generation, into associating God's creation with forms of ungodliness.
In the Book of Isaiah 14:12-16, the prophet details satan's constant desire to exalt himself on par and even above the place of God. This ripping off of God's rainbow covenant is just one of many clever schemes he uses to lead people away from God and His truth. Despite this, know that the one and only Almighty God, is the True and Living who sits on the throne, and once He is present, His truth will always be revealed.
Be wary of what you teach your children and what they are exposed to as the younger generation as a whole are almost entirely defenseless against the enemy's schemes. We must protect them at all costs from the ungodly ways of this world and the psychological traps set by the enemy and in seeking the truth of God's Word along with regular, fervent prayer, they will have a fighting chance at succeeding against the forces of darkness.
